- the woman in L'Eclisse is like the character of Camille in Le Mépris (Godard) if she was able to feel and speak like a human (Camille is a spirit).

- In the beginning of The Passenger, David Locke shouts alone in the desert, much like in the last scene of Pasolini's Theroma. The passenger could be seen, in a way, as the continuation of Theroma for this character.
